Ordering books for classroom use:

There are two ways to order books for school use:

1. Place an order through this web site. Our on-line retailer, CCNow, processes your payment and tells us what to ship to you.
Advantages: You can use a credit card, and it's quick and easy. CCNow provides secure processing of your credit card.
Disadvantages: On larger orders (e.g., 15 or more Finders guides), shipped to a school, you'll probably get a better discount ordering from us with a purchase order or check (see below).
If you chose to order on-line, send us an email (or call 800-954-2984) with your school's name, address, and contact information for the business office or principal, and we will give you a code to get a 10% discount on merchandise (in addition to any discounts offered on the web site for sets). Applies to orders shipped to schools, colleges, and universities.

2. Order using a purchase order from your school or other institution.
You can mail, fax, email, or call in with a purchase order number--just as long as you comply wtih the purchasing requirements of your school district or organization.
Advantages: You'll probably get a better discount, especially on orders for 25 or more books.
Disadvantages: You can't use a credit card.
Download a copy of our order form for information about school discounts (and other bulk discounts). You don't need to use our form, but it provides the information you or your school office or purchasing dept. will need to prepare a purchase order. (You can also take advantage of the discounts listed by sending in a check or money order with a completed order form.)

3. OK, there's a third choice, which may be convenient if you have a relationship with other vendors: Order from a seller of educational materials (Forestry Products and Flinn Scientific carry our books) or ask your local bookstore to order them for you. Bookstores can order from wholesalers like PGW or Common Ground Distributors, or directly from us.

We love to hear from teachers! Because we are a very small business, we can't always have someone in the office to take your call. We know this is sometimes inconvenient for classroom teachers, who have only limited time during the day to make calls. If you get the answering machine, please leave a message and let us know the best times to call you. We can call you in the evening if that is most convenient for you.
